Open House Folder Assignment
At our Open House I like to have a set of graded papers out for the parents to see. In order to keep the grades covered, I always assign a folder assignment for my Class Open House. This year, at this time, we are working on Geometry. Each child was in charge of making their work folder which must include: their name, the three types of angles-labeled, the three types of lines we are studying-labeled, and four two dimensional shapes-labeled. Some students chose to use the letters in their names to show these requirements, too. It was
a easy and fun activity to really see what the kids know and they also have a study sheet to take home.
